Can Leather be Modern?
In 2019, we launched MODHER to create truly sustainable, plastic-free accessories you’ll wear and love forever. Designed in San Francisco, handmade in Tuscany — our handbags fuse traditional Italian craftsmanship with natural material that leaves a minimal carbon footprint. Social and environmental responsibility are at the core of everything we do: from sourcing quality materials to working with local artisans up to our eco-packaging.
We keep quality craftsmanship as one of our core values
We have established our manufacturing process along the Arno river, in the historic leather district in Italy. Our leather, metal accessories, packaging are sourced locally, partnering with local and expert artisans.

Our criteria are based on where and who produced the raw materials, and the level of biodegradability leveraged with its durability.
Short and Transparent supply chain
With the goal of keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible, we localize our supply chain and production sites. We are proud to work with small family-owned factories, supporting the local community where our products are made and respecting the environment.
